Instructor Allyn Watson records Sew-Along with Allyn- Where Happiness is Homemade, a series of online classes showcasing a variety of sewing projects for beginners. These digital recordings will be posted to the Library’s Events Calendar and Facebook pages at 9:00 am on the first and third Fridays in June and July.

Week 3: Snap Bags

(These bags are fun to make, good for gifts, makeup, etc. and can be made any size from coin purse, sunglass case, makeup etc.)

Material List:

1 piece of fabric 10 inches X 18 inches for the outside of the bag

1 piece of batting 10inches  X 18 inches ( l like the fusible light weight batting but any batting will work and right now finding the fusible batting is difficult)

1 piece of fabric 10 inch X 23 inches for lining and trim

2 – 3 inch squares of lining fabric for pulls

A metal measuring tape

Optional:  lace, yoyo, button – something to adorn your bag with

Supplies will be posted to the calendar and the library's Facebook page the week before the instructional videos go online for all future classes.
