No-cost tax preparation and e-filing services for taxpayers of all ages by AARP Tax-Aide IRS-certified volunteers are at Camp Verde Community Library again this year,

Persons requiring tax-aide assistance need to first go to the library’s PC Help Desk, pick up an AARP Taxpayer Packet, and write down their name and phone number on the call list. A Tax-Aide volunteer will call to set 2 appointments to come to the library for tax assistance.

All forms in the AARP Taxpayer packet and all necessary requested documents must be filled out, signed and brought to the first appointment. A short interview will take place and after the interview is complete the AARP representative will inventory your tax documents and ask you to verify that inventory. You will then be given a reminder of your 2nd appointment time.

On the date of your second appointment, you will receive an explanation and copy of your tax return, sign an IRS form that will allow AARP to electronically file your return, and your tax documents will be returned to you. Appointments will be on Tuesdays between 3:00 and 6:30p starting February 8th, and ending on April 12th. If you have questions on this process please call (928) 421-3710.
