Join us for the farewell reception in honor of Fall 2024 Writer-in-Residence The Janimal, who was offering personalized one-on-one consultations for aspiring comic writers this fall! 

About The Janimal

A self-proclaimed "Jersey tomato roasting in the Arizona sun," The Janimal is a graduate of Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. Now residing in Northern Arizona with his family and two cats, he has showcased his fun, retro-inspired cartooning style at comic conventions from Phoenix Fan Fusion to New York Comic Con. He also serves as the acting president of the Northern Arizona Cartoonist Association (NAZCA).

For the past five years, The Janimal has delighted audiences at Verde Valley libraries and LibCons with his dynamic drawing demos and workshops. His work can be seen on Facebook (The Janimal Draws), Instagram (the janimaldraws) and Twitter (@janimaltweets).
