Event Details

Instructor Allyn Watson records Sew-Along with Allyn- Where Happiness is Homemade, a series of online classes showcasing a variety of sewing projects for beginners. These digital recordings will be posted to the Library’s Events Calendar and Facebook pages on the 3rd Friday of each month at 9:00 am. (On the 4th Friday this month) Or simply click "Click here to watch" at the top right of this page.

April Sew-Along Materials List: Easy Star Quilt Block:

Materials Needed:

- Four 3-inch squares of fabric for the corners

- Four 4-inch x 3-inch rectangles of fabric for the sides

- Eight 2 1/2 inch squares of fabric for the points

- One 4 inch square of fabric for the center

You can use 2, 3, or 4 fabrics for this block. My favorite uses 3 coordinating fabrics. One fabric for the center, one fabric for the corners and sides, and a 3rd fabric for the star points.

 

Instructional Video will be posted this Friday, April 22nd at 9:00 am and videos will resume posting on the 3rd Friday again in May.
