Instructor Allyn Watson records Sew-Along with Allyn- Where Happiness is Homemade, a series of online classes showcasing a variety of sewing projects for beginners. These digital recordings will be posted to the Library’s Events Calendar and Facebook pages on the 3rd Friday of each month at 9:00 am. Or simply click "Click here to watch" at the top right of this page
Supplies Needed for this month's project, Snuggle Baby Quilt (Tied):
• 2 – pieces of fabric 1 yard each (for the front and the back, may be coordinating or the same) (if you get 1½ yards of each fabric you will have enough to make a burp rag and bib)
• 1 crib size batting (I like high loft but use what you prefer)
• Coordinating yarn – floss – 1/8 inch ribbon (I prefer yarn)
• A sharp needle that you can thread your yarn through – yarn darning needles work well
This is a fun project and makes a nice and pretty easy baby present.
The pattern is available to trace at the library if you want to stop by and trace it during open hours, Monday-Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Supplies will be posted to the calendar and the library Facebook page the week before the instructional videos go online for all future classes at https://www.facebook.com/campverdelibrary/.
