Event Details
A special series of story hours designed for preschool children and preschool children on the autism spectrum. This series will be held on the Children's Patio where, thanks to a Library Service & Technology Grant, new sensory and interactive equipment has recently been installed. Young children in the developmental stage of social skills, communication skills, and joint muscle development will enjoy this six-week series of stories and activities.

03/14 Bean Bag Toss (hand-eye coordination)
03/21 Balance (muscular control, posture & concentration)
03/28 Bubbles (visual tracking, spatial awareness, and sensory)
04/04 Balls (balance, grasping and problem-solving skills)
04/11 Obstacle Course (all skills above + sequencing)
