Introduce baby to the joys of reading!

Infants (ages 0-18 months) and their grownups will enjoy a 30-minute storytime designed to encourage the development of language and motor skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and movement.

Focuses on the natural development of skills through the enjoyment of books, the importance of positive interactions between babies and parents, and the critical role of literacy-rich experiences.

Join us for Intro to Qigong (Tai Chi performed for health is a form of Qigong) with a certified staff instructor and help improve your balance, relieve your pain, and build your confidence.

Benefits of Qigong:

Geared toward children ages 0-5. Come enjoy music, dancing, a book, and a craft. This program is for children and their caregiver. Thursday 10-11 am.

Join Ms. Letty & Friends for in-person music & movement with a story and craft Thursdays @ 10:00 am in the Children's Area.

Get acquainted with computers in this Computer Basics class designed for beginners. This group class will cover different types of computers, components of a computer workstation, and basic computer navigation using Microsoft Windows 10.

Exploring the Arts is a fun and exciting new program supported by Camp Verde Community Library that focuses on artists and their works! Join us Thursdays in the Founders Room at 10:00 am where we will learn about and create art!

A volunteer will be hosting a free Tai Chi program at the Mayer Public Library in our conference room. Participants will need to sign a waiver to participate.

Join high school students for Dungeons and Dragons after school.  Snacks provided.  Drop in.  

This 30-minute storytime is designed specifically for children ages 18 to 36 months and their caregiver.

Have a sweet and magical time escaping from our Chocolate Factory! Everyone is guaranteed to finish!

Bring your crochet project or get ideas from Leslie.  Adults welcome. All levels from beginner to advanced. Enjoy an hour of creativity at the library. 

Are you a caregiver for a family member or friend? Are you exhausted, overwhelmed, isolated and stressed? There are no magic answers but there is a supportive place to share thoughts and feelings with other caregivers.

The Teen Game Room is open on Thursdays! Game Systems include Wii, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. Plus, there are also a ton of board games to play as well. There is limited space for the video games. First come, first served.

Join Friends for a movie and pizza after school: "The Bourne Ultimatum" with Matt Damon. 

Read to a calm and friendly therapy dog and their kind handlers! Perfect for kids gaining confidence reading aloud or being around dogs. You choose the book and how long you stay.

Children 6 and up can sign up to read to a therapy dog. This helps build confidence in reading. Registration required. Thursdays 3:30-4:30 pm.

Stop in to chat about Manga with Library staff and other teens and explore our growing collection of titles. Starts at 4 pm. For teens ages 12-18.

The Yavapai County Free Library District will be hosting writer in residence, Zarah Sandall, at our Dewey-Humboldt Town Library location from September 4 through November 27, 2024. 

Join PVPL every Thursday for a night of tabletop rpg, tcg, and board games with family and friends! Bring your own game, borrow from our game library, or spend the night painting minis.

New for the 2024 season, GameNite will now have weekly themes! Taking place in the Teen Library on Thursdays from 4:00 – 7:00pm, teens can hang out and play games in the library with a rotating theme:

Music in the Stacks is a showcase of local and national musicians who entertain regularly in Northern Arizona. There are 3-5 different performers during the show, with a rotating variety each month.

Watch an 'oldie but a goodie' Sci-Fi movie projected at the Clark Memorial Library. There will be a free raffle for a small prize. Pick up your raffle ticket before the drawing at 5:15 PM. The movie will start around 5:30.

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Closing Down Your Garden in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, September 12^th, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm.

Falls are one of the leading causes of death and injury in older adults. The good news: falls are preventable. There are many factors that can increase one’s chances of falling, and one of the biggest culprits is the use of certain medications.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Thursday (except on Holidays and Closures) at the Seligman Public Library - Community Meeting Room.

Citizenship Class for non-US Citizens to be able to obtain United States Citizenship. Meets weekly on Thursdays.
